Magnesium is more commonly used in the aerospace industry, it is extremely difficult to weld and generally hard to work with.
In the world of the cycling to use pure Magnesium has always been a fantasy, an unattainable dream, the material most desired by frame builders, since its characteristics match perfectly the requirements of a competition frame.

Magnesium in fact makes it 35% lighter than aluminum by volume and has a breaking point comparable only to Carbon.
The difference from the black fiber is in the elasticity.
The DOGMA® bolts like a lightning strike with every pedal stroke, and the explosive feeling is immediate.

The Dogma remains the great pride of Pinarello, with the Made in Italy mark and our "Fatta da Pinarello" emblem.
An extraordinary goal achieved through hard work and sacrifice, the Dogma is still handmade in Treviso from the raw tubes until the paint job and final assembly.
