Saturday January 17 in Treviso the new formation of the Fassa Bortolo, driven by

Paolo Fassa and the technical director Giancarlo Ferretti, presented the

25 athletes of the 2004 Trevisian team. The 2003 edition of the team collected more than 50

successes during the last season.

Alessandro Petacchi, the formation's unquestioned leader, greeted the 300 guests on his new Dogma, which was presented to him by Fausto Pinarello especially for the presentation.

The roster has been bolstered with some new athletes to reinforce Petacchi's group. The best of these seems to be Frank Vandenbrouke, the re-found Belgian champion who will focus his efforts on the great classics of the north.

Fabrizio Frizzi, Davide Cassani and the Miss Italia 2000 Tania Zamparo entertained the guests. After lunch, the Team met and mingled with fans prior to departing for their first race of the season in Qatar.
