This particular fork and rear chain stay, which remembers a revised double "s" shape was developed from a computer simulation of fork behaviour. This uses the comparison of several variants, with the purpose of finding the best possible combination of the forks longitudinal, transversal and vertical straightness. The result is a higher level of stability on both cornering and braking,and an excellent level of absorption on the vertical asperity. This equates to a 5% increase in total strength and a 10% increase in comfort when compared to the Vola fork. Every possible working condition was simulated by the computer before the fork went into production. As a result of this process the disposition of the fibres, levels of dynamic appease and all other characteristics have been greatly improved.
